Domestic Terminal at Atlanta Airport is located on the west side of ATL Airport facilities.
Domestic Terminal handles domestic traffic at Atlanta Airport. It is a big terminal, divided into several areas.
The domestic complex is divided into three parts:
The Main Terminal, and the North & South terminals.
The North & South Terminals are only used for ticketing, check-in & baggage claim.
Domestic Terminal has Concourses A to D and T, they are located parallel one to another.
The Main Terminal features the Ground Transportation Center, a 3-level Atrium in the center surrounded by food & retail stores, a Main Security Checkpoint, direct access to Concourse T gates, Plane Train access to satellite Concourses A - F, and International Baggage Claim. The 3,200 sq.ft USO Center is on Atrium’s level 3.
Atlanta Airport has the following levels:
In this level is where Plane Train is located to move through the different Concourses and Satellites.
Arrivals area with baggage claim.
Ticketing and departures area.
There is ticketing and departures area as well as some baggage claim area too.
It is the only concourse at Atlanta Airport connected to the Main Terminal of the Domestic Terminal. Separate checkpoints are located on the left (T9-T15) and on the right (T1-T8) of the concourse. Find in the central part between boarding gates T8 and T9 which leads to the Plane Train serving concourse A to F and also the International Terminal (baggage claim). Services and amenities are located throughout the Concourse.
Atlanta Airport Domestic Terminal, as well as the International Terminal, is also served by Concourses A, B, C, D and E, since those are located between both terminals.
Atlanta Airport Domestic Terminal is served by the following concourses:
Concourse A features gates A19-34 on the left left; A18-A1 on the right. A food court with 11 options, retail shops, and services are dispersed throughout the A Concourse.
Concourse A has three levels. Plane Train level, gates level and a restaurant and lounges level.
Concourse B features gates B19-B36 on the left, B18-B1 on the right. Food & drink, retail shops, and services are located throughout the B Concourse.
Concourse B has only two levels: the plane train level and the gates level.
Concourse C has gates 1-57 with Plane Train connections to Concourses A, D, E, F & International Terminal, Domestic Terminal. Food & drink, retail shops, and services are throughout the Concourse.
Concourse C has two levels: plane train level and gates level.
Concourse D features gates D21-D46 at left; D15-D1 & D1A on the right, connected to the Plane Train to access either Concourses E, F or C, B, A, T & Domestic terminal. Currency Exchange is in the center.
Concourse D has three levels: the plane train on one level, gates on another and restaurants and services in another, the mezzanine.
Both Terminals are connected through Sky Train, also known as Plane Train.
There is also a free shuttle that runs between Domestic and International Terminals 24/7 every 15 minutes.
